Tree Management, Donations and More
Tree Management
The Van Buren Point (VBP) Association maintains an active tree management program encompassing the care of Association trees and planting new trees to enhance VBP’s public areas. The tree management program is administered by the VBP Board’s Trees Committee in partnership with our Maintenance Team, Maintenance Committee, and community volunteers.
The tree management plan was developed for VBP by the Davey Resource Group after doing an inventory and analysis of the overall health of both Association trees and trees of individual cottage owners who requested and paid for this service. A detailed report on the health, age and species diversity of the Association trees and the comprehensive management plan were provided to the Trees Committee as a result of this work.
